I've read up here on this issue and everything I have seems to be installed correctly...FFFlorida, Bahamas and UTUSA. The southern side of Key West NAS appears flooded around the tank farm:

The other issue is the parking spots, in that area, result in an aircraft embedded in a tank?

What should I check?

Thanks gang.

I have the same scenery in my installation as well.

I looked at Google Earth and in all probability, when the ground/water textures were converted to FS9, the color of the surround ground being  very much like the color of the water, the conversion process did not correctly interpret the land. Now, I was not a part of the Florida development effort so I  may be completely wrong in my guestimations.

Can you post a screenshot of your parked acft in a tank for us. Make sure the lat/lon values are reflected (Shift/Z).

Thanks.

Give me about an hour as I'm on an emergency flight to Cap Hatien, Haiti from KNQX, for my VA. After that I'll reload at Parking 78 at KNQX.

Somebody made an addon KNQX which fixes this - it was not a Freeflow scenery, but it made the airport usable.  I can't seem to find it at AVSIM now, however.  Let me do a little more digging.  We can also add some land if needed Grin

Dang...got busy and forgot about the screenshot of the south parking area. Here's a shot of a C-130 at Parking 77, which is a ramp, mil cargo:

I can also do some low altitude shots if adding land is the answer to the "flooding"...for locations and such.

Scott, in looking at GE, just adding land won't help. The fuel tanks on the left should be a row of hangers on the edge of the ramp, the taxi way so marked is really a road and the pad is not for acft, and some water needs to be converted to land.

See the attache screenshot comparison.

Is the whole airport misplaced in FS9?  Maybe the issue isn't the land, but MS's default airport location?  Judging by that shot, the runways are not the correct headings either...

Wouldn't be the first time...

Is KNQX closed IRL?

No, the airport looks pretty much in the right place.

I think it just needs some reworking with the land/water areas, converting incorrect taxi ways to roads and eliminating the fuel tanks to be replaced with hangers. Otherwise it looks pretty good, without getting up close and personal  Smiley
